I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for your trust and the fruitful collaboration we’ve enjoyed so far – and, even more importantly, to share some exciting news about our latest AI-powered product, designed specifically to help transform our companies into fully “AI-driven” organizations.

When ChatGPT first launched, I realized we were witnessing humanity’s most significant breakthrough in history – something that until recently existed only in the realm of science fiction was suddenly becoming reality. Ever since, I’ve felt a powerful mix of uncontainable enthusiasm and genuine concern for the future. For now, however, enthusiasm still wins out. 😉

Following ChatGPT’s debut, we connected several key dots: Large Language Models (LLMs), Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman’s Systems 1 and 2 thinking, a dash of inspiration from sci-fi literature, and our own conversational-interface-based low-code product developed by our former subsidiary, Finanteq S.A. – which we sold to a German IT group but retained the product itself.

Funded by proceeds from that exit and driven by two years of dedicated work from a team of over a dozen engineers and scientists, we created Extentum AI: a complete GenAI platform.

What exactly is it? You’ve probably already heard about “AI agents.” Unfortunately, big tech companies have caused considerable conceptual confusion by labeling their basic conversational assistants as “AI agents.” True agents are entities capable of largely autonomous action – not assistants merely answering questions based on provided documents. Calling simple assistants “agents” is a misuse of the term.

Basic assistants can be built with a single prompt. However, developing semi-autonomous or intelligent processes that follow complex procedural logic demands significant financial investment – and, worse yet, according to various analyses, such AI initiatives fail in as many as 80-90% of cases!

Why? Because building AI solutions is far more akin to research and experimentation than traditional programming. You often can’t validate a solution’s effectiveness until it’s fully implemented – and that’s expensive. Therefore, “experimentation” (there’s really no better word for it) must be affordable!

We needed tools that would make building genuine AI agents easier and turn experimentation into something natural and fast. We needed a system enabling individuals – not large, costly teams of engineers and scientists – to develop AI solutions in days rather than months.

“Fast fail” in experimentation is the key to success, including in AI.
